Önalanlar İnş. San. ve Tic. A.Ş. - Our History
1953. Commercial operations started with the manufacturing of bricks by Necati Önalan, the senior member of the family.
In 1972 the company renamed to Onalanlar Limited Company. Under new title, 275.000 sqm of construction for public and private companies has been completed. Construction activities included residential buildings, schools, dormitories, warehouses and factory buildings.
In 1982 company was renamed and transformed into Onalanlar General Partnership Co. In adddition to contruction activities, Onalanlar started marketing of construction materials.
In 1997, Onalanlar constructed a new manufacturing plant of 10.000 sqm located at Gebze Organized Industrial Zone for the production of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays under Artemis® brand.
In 1987 the title changed to Onalanlar Construction Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company. Onalanlar started marketing of foreign brands like Villeroy&Boch, Ceramica Mirage, Albatros, Bisazza, Tagina, Jado
In 1999, in order to improve growth rate of imported goods sales, a new company Onalanlar Construction Materials Marketing Joint Stock Company was founded. On the production side, to further enhance brand image and marketing activities, Artemis Construction Materials Marketing Joiint Stock Company was founded to overtake maketing activities of Artemis® branded products.
